We would like to congratulate Marissa Boyde as the recipient of the 2022 Nechako Environment and Water Stewardship Society Bursary.  Marissa plans to attend UNBC in the fall to pursue a Bachelor's of Science with a career goal of becoming a Wildlife Biologist.  Good luck in your studies and all the future holds for you Marissa!

The NEWSS Bursary is awarded annually to an Indigenous graduate from School District #91 who is pursuing post secondary education in a Natural Resources field.  The funding for this bursary was made possible by the Healthy Watersheds Initiative, which is delivered by the Real Estate Foundation of BC and Watersheds BC, with financial support from the Province of British Columbia as part of its $10-billion COVID-19 response.
