Fraser Basin Council Workshop
May 5, 2013

Document:

Vanderhoof was the host community for the Ninth Annual BC Interior Stewardship Workshop of the Fraser Basin Council, held in May 2013. NEWSS lead a field trip for attendees to the Murray Creek Demonstration Site. The field trip started at Riverside Park, the location of the Migratory Bird Sanctuary, Nechako white sturgeon spawning habitat, and the confluence of Murray Creek. It is an important location to start the story of Murray Creek and its importance for the health of the entire watershed. Here are a few highlight images from the field trip. The field trip was lead by NEWSS Director Wayne Salewski.
