Willow Planting (2021)
Continuing on the work from the year before, new sections of the Chilako River were planted with willows. It was exciting to find the recruitment of cottonwood seedlings sprouted after one flood of the Chilako River. The willow stake hold back substrate and reduce flow rate to allow for materials to settle and build upon the bank.
