Healthy Watershed Initiative (2021)
In partnership with the landowner along Tritt Creek, the project was focussed on improving the creek crossing to reduce damage to the habitat.
Using best management practices to prevent sediment suspension, a 12 m bridge was installed which provides year-round fish passage opportunity and reduces potential for sediment input at the crossing site.
Funding
This project was supported through the Healthy Watersheds Initiative, which is delivered by the Real Estate Foundation of BC and Watersheds BC, with financial support from the Province of British Columbia as part of its $10-billion COVID-19 response.
